507 Social Club — Membership Policy

Registration No.: CHRA-009

1. Purpose & Scope

These policies outline the rights, obligations, and conduct expected of all members of 507 Social Club.
Our mission is to provide a responsible, transparent, and community-driven framework for adult members to legally access cannabis through a regulated dispensary, in full compliance with Maltese CHRA and ARUC regulations.

2. Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open exclusively to adults aged 18 years and over.

  • Entrance to the Club is strictly 18+ — no exceptions.

  • Valid identification and proof of age are required upon registration and entry.

  • Membership is personal, non-transferable, and limited to natural persons.

  • Cannabis may be distributed to members in accordance with CHRA guidelines; however, consumption of cannabis on the premises is strictly prohibited.

  • Members agree to handle and use cannabis responsibly and only in private spaces, as permitted by law.

  • Under ARUC regulations, by joining 507 Social Club you confirm that you are registered with only one cannabis association in Malta.
Members found to hold multiple memberships may face immediate termination as required by law.

3. Membership Fees & Renewal

  • The membership fee is €2.50 every 30 days.

  • Fees are collected in person at the Club upon registration and renewal.

  • Memberships renew every 30 days unless cancelled by the member or suspended by the Club.

  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

  • Failure to renew or pay within 7 days of expiry may result in suspension of membership privileges.

  • The Club reserves the right to contact members periodically to ensure satisfaction and continued interest.
If a member expresses dissatisfaction or no longer wishes to remain part of the community,
the Club may terminate the membership and refund the most recent membership fee as a gesture of goodwill.

4. Member Rights

All members have the right to:

  • Access Club facilities and purchase cannabis products in accordance with CHRA-approved limits.

  • Participate in educational, cultural, and community events.

  • Attend and participate in the Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) where updates on operations, policies, and elections may take place.

  • Receive fair and equal treatment regardless of background, gender, or beliefs.

  • Submit feedback, suggestions, or complaints through official Club channels.

  • Withdraw from membership at any time by written or digital notice.

5. Member Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

  • Respect staff, fellow members, and the Club’s neighbours.

  • Comply with all Maltese laws and CHRA regulations regarding possession, transport, and personal use of cannabis.

  • Not consume any cannabis on Club premises under any circumstances.

  • Keep membership credentials confidential and not allow others to use them.

  • Follow hygiene and safety guidelines posted within the premises.

  • Avoid behaviour that may endanger others, disrupt the Club environment, or damage the Club’s reputation.

6. Code of Conduct

  • Access to the premises is strictly limited to adults aged 18+. Minors will not be permitted under any circumstances.

  • Violence, discrimination, harassment, or abusive language will not be tolerated.

  • Members under the influence of alcohol or other substances that impair judgment may be denied entry.

  • Photography or recording without consent is prohibited inside the Club.

  • The Club reserves the right to immediately remove or suspend any member who breaches this policy or CHRA regulations.

7. Restriction on Cannabis Transportation Outside Malta

Members acknowledge and agree that cannabis products obtained from the Club and their packaging are strictly for personal use within Malta.
Members must not transport or take any Club-dispensed cannabis products or packaging outside Maltese territory.
Any member found in violation of this policy by attempting to transport or take cannabis products outside Malta will be subject to immediate expulsion and termination of membership privileges.

8. Distribution Site Hours

The distribution site is open for members during specific days and set hours.
Standard opening hours are 9am–1pm and 4pm–9pm Monday to Saturday, and Sunday 9am–1pm.

9. Stock Shortages Notification

In the event of an anticipated shortage of stock before the next harvest, the Club will promptly inform members.
Notices will specify whether the distribution site will be closed for a limited period or operate under reduced hours.
Every effort will be made to communicate this information swiftly via the Club’s social media platforms and notices on the premises.

10. Stock Apportionment

If a stock shortage occurs, the Club will distribute the remaining available stock on a first-come, first-served basis, respecting CHRA regulations and ensuring fair distribution without unnecessary retention.

11. Membership Fee Handling in Shortages

If a stock shortage occurs during a membership period for which fees have been paid, the Club may determine fair handling of those fees.
If the remaining term is substantial and members are unable to purchase product for more than half the period paid for, compensation (such as credit or extension of membership) may be granted at the Club’s discretion.

12. Social Media & Public Representation Policy

  • Members are strictly prohibited from publishing, posting, or sharing any photos, videos, or content on social media or public platforms that include 507 Social Club branding, logos, staff, premises, or cannabis-related materials.

  • Members must not represent themselves publicly as agents, employees, or official spokespeople of the Club.

  • This rule is in place to ensure compliance with ARUC regulations, which prohibit public promotion or marketing of cannabis associations.

  • Any breach of this policy will result in immediate termination of membership, and the matter may be reported to regulatory authorities as required by law.

13. Guests

  • Members may invite guests only during authorised events or hours, subject to staff approval.

  • Guests must sign in and comply with the same rules as members.

  • Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests at all times.

Members will be notified of major updates via email or Club notice boards.
